Game of Thrones-Power Rankings-The Dance of Dragons

Welcome to Power Rankings where host, Jessica Kinney, gives you the rundown on how the power shifts from week to week on Game of Thrones.

This week’s episode was The Dance of Dragons.  It was named for the book and story that Shireen Baratheon was reading about the Targaryen civil war.  That was the last the we will be seeing of Shireen as she was burned alive as a sacrifice to the Lord of Light.  Stannis is more crazy than ever and determined to get to the throne no matter the cost.  Jon Snow returned to a cold welcome at the Wall.  He will need to convince the men of Castle Black that they are going to need the help of the Wildlings.  Doran Martell is showing his softer side as a leader, but also that he is a good negotiator.  He just secured the Martells place in Tommen’s small council and put Ellaria in her place.  Hopefully, Arya Stark will put Maryn Trant in his place as he is in Braavos and showing off what a horrible person he truly is.  She might just get the chance to mark another name off her kill list!  Finally, in Meereen the Sons of the Harpy make their attack on Daenerys and almost have her until Drogon comes to save the day.  If Danny can control her dragons now, she won’t need to “break the wheel”, she can just burn it to the ground!

Two days after the fourth season premiered in April 2014, HBO renewed Game of Thrones for a fifth and sixth season.

Don’t miss out on the new season, showing Sunday nights on HBO. If you’re a fan of the show, then tune in each week for a new Power Rankings!
