LIVE! Pop Noir Performing on April 14th!
Hot. British. Twins. Need I say more? I guess I should mention, they’re musicians too…
They’re “Young, Gifted, and Noir.” They’re Pop Noir, and they’ll be performing on “Live! From the Future.. with Stuart Paap” Tuesday April 14th!
The indie/electronic dancerock trio has a “unique sound born in the drizzle of Manchester, England, and seasoned in the sunshine of Southern California.” Twin brothers, Joe and Luke McGarry head up the band. Luke plays bass, keyboard, and rocks the lead vocals, while Joe handles the guitar and backup vocals. Joined by Nico Saavedra on the drums, Pop Noir is known for delivering raw and energetic live performances!
The McGarry Brothers made their debut at a concert in an abandoned indoor skatepark in Costa Mesa, California, in 2004. Since then, they have played more than 170 shows, headlined L.A. landmarks The Viper Room, The Knitting Factory, The Key Club, The Echo and Club NME at Spaceland, supported the likes of The Wombats and The Pinkertones, and played as far afield as London, Manchester and Paris. Along the way, they have acquired a loyal and rapidly expanding fanbase that has pushed myspace plays past the quarter-million benchmark. [taken from their bio on RCRD LBL]
