Sylvester Stallone Comments On EXPENDABLES 3 – AMC Movie News

In a recent interview with Crave, Sylvester Stallone was asked if he felt the decision to make EXPENDABLES 3 a PG-13 was a mistake. Stallone said the following: “Absolutely unequivocally yes. I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone’s part in trying to reach a wider audience, but in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I’m quite certain it won’t happen again.” Stallone also went on to reveal that he originally wanted Mel Gibson to direct the film as well, however after several months of negotiating, they were unable to reach an agreement and Gibson went on to star in the film as the villain.
