Who is Zoom?!

I’m wondering the same thing you all are wondering, WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY?! Is he Eddie? Is he Earth 2 Barry?! Is he Earth 2 Wells?!! Who the hell is it?!!! Well guys, I have a few ideals that may help to narrow the selection but honestly I don’t really know either. Let’s break it down.

We’ll start off with Eddie:

Great guy, even the #1 Flash fan himself will admit that the man could seemingly do no wrong (#WestAllen). Now I’ve heard some folks saying 2 things.

1.) Maybe Eddie survived the gunshot and became Cobalt Blue?

This part is tough to wrap my head around. Cause ultimately I think he died. The fact that Wells aka Eobard disappeared means some serious alterations were made to the current timeline and folks were inevitably wiped out. Could being sucked into the portal revived him? Maybe. Just seems the farthest from the list of possibilities.

2.) Is it Earth 2 Eddie as Cobalt Blue?

Possibly. Maybe Eddie 2 came across the dead body of himself from Earth 1 and did a little research on their Flash Jay Garrick. I’m digging the sound of that.

Next we’ll look at Barry the badass himself:

I hear a lot of folks saying that maybe it’s Earth 2 Barry Allen. I can see this happening due to a few factors. What the writers are saying is that Wally West will be getting the Speedforce abilities due to some kind of situation happening in the show. If you’re familiar with the comics, that’s the same way Wally obtained his abilities in the Flash storyline Out of Time, where in the future, angrier Barry Allen is BLUE and he comes back trying to correct his mistakes causing damages to the Speedforce. During their battles Wally is caught in the crossfire and ultimately “BLESSED” (as I would call it) with the Speedforce. Could this be a warped interpretation of that plot? Definitely but we’ll soon find out. I’m kind of hoping it is.

Lastly we find ourselves looking at who I will forever call, “The Man in the Wheelchair” aka Harrison mothaf**king Wells aka Eobard Thawne aka The Man in the Yellow Suit:

Is he Zoom? I don’t know, but as I always say, DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!! *Forest Gump voice* And that’s all I got to say about that.

In the end, we’ll never truly know until they tell us of course, but one thing is for sure no one is to be trusted. Not even Jay Garrick. As much as I hate to say it, the only proof we have is the stories he’s told us. Could he be Zoom or someone posing as Jay Garrick as to keep Zoom in the loop about Earth 1 Flash?!
