What I’m afraid of is that big events get taken over, the smaller venues go out of business, and no one will be around to hold events when the big money moves on. It’s happened before and we had the dark ages. It would suck to let it happen again. The dudes that have been doing their shit will keep doing it, but they will be hurting financially, at an age when most folks are starting to think about stability and setting roots down.
