Gone Girl Wins Box Office For The 2nd Week In A Row – AMC Movie News

The weekend box office numbers are in and it’s another 1st place finish for the Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike film GONE GIRL. The film only fell 29% in its second week taking the #1 spot with $26.8 million. I second place was DRACULA UNTOLD making a solid $23.5 million on its opening weekend. In 3rd is the family film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day making just over $19 million with ANNABELLE coming in 4th spot in its second weekend making $16.4 million. Rounding out the top 5 is the new Robert Downey Jr. film THE JUDGE which took $13.3 million on it’s opening weekend. Dennis, what stands out to you about the box office results?
