Martin Scorsese Gets Funding For SILENCE- AMC Movie News
Looks like acclaimed and Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese has finalized funding for his upcoming film Silence through investors Fábrica de Cine and SharpSword Films. The movie is based on the novel by Shusaka Endo and is about a 17-century Portuguese Jesuit priest who is tasked with taking Christianity to Japan. The film stars Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver and will begin production at the end of the month.
