Next PLANET OF THE APES Movie Moved Back A Year – AMC Movie News

For those of you who are fans of the recent DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES film, we have some slightly bad news for you. Although it was previously announced that the next PLANET OF THE APES film would drop in July of 2016, Fox has announced that they have push the movie back a full year to July 14th 2017. Although no official reason has been given for the date change, it’s being speculated that director Matt Reeves requested the extra time to develop and shoot the film.
