WONDER WOMAN Offered To Female Director – AMC Movie News
According to reports, Warner Bros and their upcoming film WONDER WOMAN have made an offer to a female director to helm the new movie. In an interview with Forbes, director Lexi Alexander claimed to even know who it is saying the following: ” If she says yes, everybody will be very happy, including me. Still, I don’t see at this point why anyone would say yes. There is huge pressure. If a female director does fail, then all of a sudden it’s ‘all women suck at directing”. A rumored short list of potential directors includes names like Kathryn Bigelow (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Catherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”), Mimi Leder (“Deep Impact”) and Michelle Maxwell MacLaren (“Breaking Bad”).
