Bruce Springsteen ran into some trouble recently while near Freehold, New Jersey when his bike broke down on the side of the road.
It wasn’t long before Dan Barkalow noticed the incident and without thinking twice about it pulled over to help, this was without even realizing who it was who was stranded.
Barkalow, 54, told CNN “The moment I got off the bike I saw it was him, and he was a real nice, down-to-earth guy.
The battery on Springsteen’s bike was declared dead and he was given a ride to a local restaurant where he waited 45 minutes before being picked up.
The musician invited Barkalow and his buddies for a round of drinks and chatted about motorcycles and “good old Freehold.”
