Rocky Spin-Off CREED Readies To Shoot – AMC Movie News
The upcoming Rocky spin off film CREED, which was originally announced last year, seems to be ready to shoot. According to a report in Empire Magazine, the new film is set to start shooting as early as January with a possible late 2015 release. The movie is said to focus on Apollo Creed’s grandson Adonis ( played by Michael B Jordan), a young man whose family has tried to keep him away from the ring but whose natural talents as a boxer draw him there anyway. Stallone takes the Burgess Meredith role as Creed’s trainer: a Rocky who has left the world of boxing behind and has no real desire to return until he meets the new protégé.
